MAINE APPRENTICESHIP WAGE AND PROGRESSION RATES
*Based on area of Maine the Apprentice is working.

 
1 HOUR TO 1000 HOURS 80% OF THE JOURNEYPERSON RATE
1001 HOURS TO 2000 HOURS 85% OF THE JOURNEYPERSON RATE
2001 HOURS TO 3000 HOURS 90% OF THE JOURNEYPERSON RATE
3001 HOURS TO 4000 HOURS 95% OF THE JOURNEYPERSON RATE
4001 HOURS 100% BECOMES A JOURNEYPERSON

Apprentice will receive 100% of the Maine Laborers' benefit package.

Each Apprentice attended a 4-week general construction course.  They received training in: Mason Tending, Concrete Placement, Scaffold Building, Air Tools & Compressors, Material Handling, OSHA Safety, Construction Math, Hazard Communication, Line & Grade.

All Apprentices are required to receive 144 hours of related training per year as an Apprentice, which should take 2 to 2.5 years to complete.
